Organza (2026)

For this project we were was assigned to design a typeface on anything that inspired us. For mine I took inspiration from delicate, sheer fabric: liquid organza. I spent a semester designing and refining my custom typeface: Organza. The challenge of the assignment was trying to make sure all the letter forms were cohesive and felt like liquid without taking away from its chic form. I gained knowledge on creating rules to give restraint for each letter so that the letters would flow and so the minor details wouldn't get lost when being scaled.
