Ohanalulu

For this project we were was assigned to design a typeface inspiered by a place in the world. For mine I took inspiration from Hawaii. I spent a semester designing and refining my custom typeface that I created called Ohanalulu. The challenge of the assignment was trying to make sure all the letter forms were cohesive and looked like they belonged. I gained knowledge on creating rules to give restraint for each letter so that they would naturally flow.
